When I first met Lyndon and Sarah from Fineanddandy.co.uk I knew I wanted to do a collaborative shoot with them. Their style of photography is really beautiful. I like to take inspiration for my wedding gowns from vintage clothing using gorgeous beaded fabrics and lace, so it made sense to shoot somewhere that was very atmospheric and had a vintage feel. After searching for the right venue I came across The Asylum in Southwark. When we all met at the Asylum we were really excited to shoot there and Sarah and Lyndon had some great ideas, one of them was using smoke bombs which looked amazing. Sarah from the flower-bird.co.uk had a perfect style for her florals keeping it quite simple and ethereal with blossom, roses and lots of foliage. The headpieces were by Abby at Cherishedvintage.co.uk. Her delicate hand crafted pieces complimented the wedding dresses perfectly. The models Bernadettelemon.co.uk and Sam Elson (Instagram Blossomandbuttercups) were lovely to work with. Sam was wearing our bush beaded silk and tulle wedding dress with our Cloud veil, and our Darcy and Lola bridal seperates. The Lola wedding skirt is layers of tulle and the Darcy bridal top is handmade from gorgeous French lace with buttoned back. Bernadette wore our Iris bridal gown with embellished flower bodice, and our Rosalie wedding dress which has a beautiful train. She is also pictured wearing the Violet beaded wedding gown in a champagne colour.
