My Favourite East London Wedding Venues

1. Wilton's Music Hall

One of the most beautiful wedding venues in East London, this Grade 2 listed building is the world's oldest surviving music hall. Currently run as a multi-arts performance space, hire includes the whole building which means being closed to the public. They only have certain dates available per year. Wilton’s has a photo opportunity everywhere you look!

2. Area, Shoreditch

If you’re looking for a blank canvas East London wedding venue then this stunning open space may be the one for you. With distressed wooden floorboards, high vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork and huge windows, Area is set in vibrant Shoreditch. There is also an events team on hand to help you realise your dream wedding. Image courtesy of JJ Events.

3. Town Hall Hotel, Bethnal Green

Our next East London wedding venue is The Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green, which combines architectural splendour and is perfect for both large and intimate weddings. There is a choice of rooms with the De Montfort Suite providing a clean and contemporary look. The grand Art Deco Council Chamber is perfect for a formal wedding and Bethnal Hall is beautifully elegant.

4. The Prince Arthur, Hackney

The Prince Arthur is a beautiful traditional pub in London Fields, Hackney, which features a horseshoe shaped bar so that’s already a good start! If you’re looking for a relaxed fun East London wedding venue then this could be the one for you. A walk away from the Art Deco inspired Hackney Town Hall, you can have your wedding party in The Prince Arthur. There is a great team on hand to help with your requests too. This venue can take 120 standing, 50 seated for private hire or you can book the bar area which seats 30 and 50 standing. Image courtesy Christopher Currie.
